The Gemini Legacy 35 will make her European debut at the 2013 Southampton Boat Show.

The Gemini Legacy 35 made her introduction to the UK sailing community at the 2013 Portsmouth Multihull Show with great success. The Legacy features fundamental improvements and progressive styling all of which captures the attention of show-goers.

“The new model really stirs things up at the shows… it’s great to see so many sailors truly excited to get onboard and experience the new design,” said Robin Hodges, who represents Gemini in the UK. “Of course, the Legacy keeps all the best design aspects of the Gemini concept. A 14′ beam and the performance, stability and room of a cat is a rare combination. She easily fits into the standard-sized slips located along the southeast coast of Great Britain – that’s convenience and cost-savings every sailor appreciates,” Hodges continued.

During the show, the new owner of the first Gemini Legacy 35 in the UK ventured out for his maiden voyage aboard his new sailing catamaran in Portsmouth Harbour. With a gentle breeze, the Gemini Legacy 35 easily exceeded three-quarters wind speed and was a sailor’s dream as she pointed beautifully at 45-degrees. Pushing 9 knots, the sporty Gemini Legacy 35 effortlessly took over the larger cats sailing in the harbour.
